Merlene Yvonne Inniss, of Four Roads, St. John and formerly of Edgecliff, St. John and Branchbury, St. Joseph entered peacefully into rest at age 60.  Member of the Antioch Pentecostal Church, Coffee Gully, St. Joseph and the Women’s Fellowship.

Daughter of the late Douglas Catlyn and Joan Inniss.  Mother of Alison and Amanda Inniss (Chefette Restaurants), Mario Inniss (Crane Beach Hotel) and Natalie Butcher (Hallmark).  Grandmother of Kadeem, Chequem, Akeem, Damiko, Dalanna and Amiya Inniss.  Great Grandmother of Shakay Inniss.  Sister of Jennifer and Ofinul Inniss, Gloria Bourne, Judy Morris and Beverly Straker.  Aunt of Donna, Shernelle, Jefferson, Jermaine, Candacy, Karen and many others.  Mother-in-law of Cleveland Butcher.  Sister-in-law of Neville Morris and Thelbert Bourne.  Godmother of Tabitha Headley and Jacintha Defreitas.  Relative of the Catlyn, Inniss, Martindale and Marshall families. Friend of Wendy Massiah, Kim Headley, Judith Clarke, George Williams and Bertram Jemmott.

The funeral of the late Merlene Yvonne Inniss leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, August 4^th at 11:00 a.m. for The Antioch Pentecostal Church, Coffee Gully, St. Joseph where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 1:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. Joseph Parish Church Cemetery for the interment.  

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
