Merle U. O. Roach, age 102, affectionately known as “Aunt Merle” of Heywoods Park, St. Peter, formerly of Upper Carlton, St. James and Road View, St. Peter, entered peacefully into rest on 11th June, 2019.  Retired Acting Deputy Principal of St. Boniface School.

Sister of the late Elma Kellman.

Aunt of Charles and the late F. Greyson Kellman.

Great Aunt of Brian, Toni, Stuart, Marc and Alex Kellman and LaMar Francis.

Great-great-aunt of Brianna Smith, Raine Wood, Brandon, Andrew and Ethan Kellman and Sirena Gonsalves-Francis.

Special friend of Richard Wood (Caretaker) and Myra Wallace.

Foster Mother of Sylvia Blackman.

Godmother of Sylvia Newsam-Parris, James Browne and many others.

Relative of the Denny, Yearwood and Wilson families.

The funeral of the late Merle U. O. Roach leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, June 19th, at 12 noon for St. Peter’s Parish Church, Church Street, Speightstown, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. Peter’s Cemetery for the interment.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
