Marjorie Johnson, affectionately known as “Ma” or “Grannie” of #23 Oxnards, St. James and formerly of Ashton Hall, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 92.

Widow of Neville “Cattie” Johnson.

Mother of Ann Griffith (Retired teacher of Fredrick Smith Secondary School) and the late Anthony Bowen (Former Superintendent of the Royal Barbados Police Force).

Grandmother of Asha Small (Attorney-At-Law and JetBlue Airways) and Mikaela Griffith (Medical Student).

Great-grandmother of Aiden and Sanai Small.  

Sister of Graceline and Arthur Bowen (USA), Daphne Bowen, Bentley and Peter Haynes, Michael Hinds and six predeceased.

Aunt of Ryan, Anthony and Keith (All of the USA), Beverley, Roosevelt and Lindsay Bowen, Elsworth Clarke and many others.

Mother-in-law of the late Wayne Griffith and Patricia Bowen.

Relative ofthe Bowen, Husbands, Griffith, Johnson, Greaves and Sobersfamilies.

Cherished Friend of Violet and Sheila Husbands, Arlene Corbin, Alvin Griffith and Truth for the Faith Final Generation Church.

The funeral of the late Marjorie Johnson leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Thursday October 10th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. for St. Lucy’s Parish Church, Fairfield, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 3:00 p.m.

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.
