Laurie Evans Boyce, of Rock Field, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 82 on March 16th, 2025. 

Retired Assistant Commissioner of The Royal Barbados Police Force, now The Barbados Police Service.

Son of the late Joseph Reginald and Martha Boyce.

Husband of Vivian Boyce.

Father of Kay, Michelle and Curtis.

Grandfather of Sasha, Jaleeta and Kiara.

Great-grandfather of Jasani. 

Brother of Audrey, Roosevelt and Vestyne (UK), Janice (Canada), Erla, Claudette, Hiran, Leyland, Joan, Victor, Mervin, Beverley and the late Carmen Coward.

Nephew of Anita Norville.

The funeral of the late Laurie Evans Boyce leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Wednesday April 16th, 2025 at 12 noon for St. Clements Anglican Church, Lowland, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 2:00 p.m.

Full military honours will be accorded. Tributes by The Barbados Police Service Band will commence at 1:00 p.m.

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

The body of the late Laurie Evans Boyce will repose for viewing from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at The Police Sports Club, Weymouth, Roebuck Street, St. Michael.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
