Joel Khorine Oxley of Clinkett’s Gardens, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 70.  

Wife of Michael Oxley. Mother of Teresa Browne and Ra-shad Oxley.  Grandmother of Kerry and Kody Browne and Amiel Hope.  Adopted mother of Eustacia Hope and Teanna Jordan.  Sister of Gracelyn Corbin, Michael, Harcliffe and Keith Gilkes.  Aunt and Great Aunt of many.  Mother-in-law of Glenn Browne.  Sister-in-law of Joyce McQuilkin.  Relative of the Austin, Broomes, Gilkes and Fortes families. Friend of many too numerous to mention.

The funeral of the late Joel Khorine Oxley leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, December 15th at 12 noon for The Community Berean Bible Baptist Church, Six Men’s Development, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. 

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect, with a maximum of 25 persons allowed to be in attendance.
