Joan Yvonne Norville, of Salmonds, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 72.  

Retired Teacher of Daryll Jordan Secondary, formerly known as St. Lucy Secondary School.

Member of the Church of God Reformation Movement.

Sister of Bentley and Eugene Norville, Rhonda King, Dorcas Slocombe, the late Roosevelet “Jiggs” Norville and Juliette Williams.

Aunt of Neil, Carlos and Omari Norville, Justin (Nicole) and Dr. Joy Sue (Mark Watson), Shonette Bowen (Samuel), Dawn Williams (Ricky Shepherd) and Trecia Gittens.

Great-Aunt of Tyrelle, Christon, Zaquera, Javon, Jadon and Jalon Norville, Shael, Shamar and Samara Bowen, Evyn Sue and Deonte Gittens.

Cousin of Dr. Myrna Patrick, Sharon and Pierre Griffith, Juliette Alleyne, Wilma Prescod and many more.

Sister-in-law of David Slocombe, Cliff King, Patricia Norville, Jannette Babb and the late Clyde Williams.

The funeral of the late Joan Yvonne Norville leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Thursday February 20th, 2025 at 12 noon for the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 2:00 p.m.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Joan Yvonne Norville from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
