Jennifer Lucine Husbands, age 60, of Broomefield #2, St. Lucy entered into rest on the 6th January, 2018 at Q.E.H. Former Conductress of the Transport Board and employee of the Laundry Department of Almond Beach Village. 

Daughter of Edith “Urlene” Husbands .

Mother of Shawndelle Burke, Nicole, Cige, Rachelle, Shakita and Kemar Husbands.

Grandmother of Khadija, Shaquille, Tori-ann, Daniel, Chevi-ann, Tiayra, Kazarah and 5 others.

Sister of Ursalene Carrington, Valreta “Veta” Boyce and Varine Walker (both of U.S.A.) and Sandra Edwards (England).

Niece of Imelda Phillips.

Aunt of Michelle, Adrian, Owen, Sherry and Jackie Boyce (all of the U.S.A.), Dianne Battershield and Nick Edwards (both of England).

Cousin of Margaret Gibbons-Benjamin, Yvonne Hinds and many others.

Special friend of Oviston Scantlebury, Sandy Springer and Suzette Skeete.

Relative of the Husbands, Boyce, Phillips, Clarke and Richards families.

Friend of many.  Special thank you to the Nursing Staff of Ward C12 Q.E.H.

The funeral of the late Jennifer Lucine Husbands leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, January 25th at 1:30 p.m. for St. Lucy Parish Church, Near Nestfield, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the Interment at 3:30 p.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.  Mourning Colors are Optional.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Jennifer Lucine Husbands from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.

    My deepest sympathy to Jennifer entire family. Remember death is but a sleep, until Christ second coming. May God give the entire family Strength and comfort. Me and Jennifer went to school together and was pretty close in those days. She was alway joking and laughing back in those days. I was at Checker Hall SDA the Sabbath morning they made the announcement. It was very sad for me. I return to the USA the following Wednesday. Much prayer and love to the family.
