Jean Arlette Went, also known as “Arlette” ofPie Corner, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 77. 

Retired Employee of Child Care Board.

Daughter of the late Elkins Clarke and Doris Hinds.

Mother of Junior Went, Cheryl-Ann Went and Fayequetta Springer.

Grandmother of Mekhail Marshall, Laiyah and Leo Guillaume.

Sister of Victor Springer, Stephney Hinds, Sonia Hinds, Michael Hinds and Sayleen Hinds.

Aunt of Julie Springer, Keiron Phillips, Carol Springer, Corey Phillips, Melissa Hinds, Shaquira Hinds, Jamar Phillips, Shanice Alleyne and Iyanla Hinds.

Great-Aunt of many.

Cousin of Everald Springer, Harold Springer, Esther Collymore, Shirley Hollingsworth, Wayne Clarke and many others.

Sister-in-law of Joan Springer and Leona Hinds.

Special friend of Orlyn Carmicheal, Joyce Burnett and Simone Noel.

The funeral of the late Jean Arlette Went leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Friday October 11th, 2024  at 8:00 a.m. for Kairos Wesleyan Holiness Church, Pie Corner, St. Lucy  where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving 10:00 a.m.

The funeral will then proceed to St. Clements Anglican Church Cemetery for the interment.
