Ione Louise Armstrong nee Gilkes of Skeete’s Road, Rose Hill, St. Peter answered the call on Tuesday, 23^rd October, 2018 to be with the Lord.

Wife of the late Fitz Vernol Armstrong. Daughter of the late Ina and Samuel Gilkes.  Mother of Felicia Gilkes-Cox, Barrie, Penelope and Kevin Armstrong.  Step-mother of Goldwin Edwards.  Grandmother of Rico Forde, Nailah Cox and the late Jabar Boyce.  Sister of Carlyle Gilkes, the late Sylvia Johnson, Muriel Barrow and Cynthia Gilkes.  Aunt of Arlene Toppin and Fidelia Gilkes.  Sister-in-law of Doriel Gilkes, Inez Babb, Eudene Jordan, Ena Small, Esther Clarke, Henderson Jordan and Annis Kirton.  Relative of the Atwell, Gilkes, Richards and Scantlebury families.

The funeral of the late Ione Louise Armstrong nee Gilkes leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, November 2^nd, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. for All Saints’ Anglican Church, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 4:00 p.m.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Ione Louise Armstrong nee Gilkes from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31^st, 2018.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
