Hugh Gordon Clarke, late of # 27 Benn Hill Woods, St. Peter, formerly of Berlin, Germany and Babylon Road, Belleplaine, St. Andrew.

Entered peacefully into rest on  February 01st, 2021 at age 79.  Former Soldier of the Barbados Regiment and the British Army.  Member of the Men’s Fellowship of the Belleplaine Church of God Reformation Movement.

Son of the late Alphonza and Millicent Taitt.

Beloved father of  Natalie Clarke (Germany).

Brother of Opal Clarke (USA), Oakley Taitt, Vivian (Rudolph) Taitt, Ethna (Orlaine) Small, the late Ethel and Clifton Clarke, Esther Jordan and Gene Taitt.

Uncle of Hetney, Lisa, Lana, Tracey and Rossi Clarke, Beverley Clarke-Leacock, Sonia Small-Als, Rodney Small, Jennifer, Vondene and Lawrence Taitt of Barbados; Anthony, Laura, Celia and Owen Taitt, Fiona Taitt-Rembert, Monique, Clifton Jr, Christopher and Dwight Clarke, Michelle Sutton, Penelope Clarke-May, Geoffrey Jones and Gena Walker all of USA.

Great Uncle of Ryan, Roger, Ronald and Ronnie Clarke, Adrian Roachford and many others.

Brother-in-Law of Carmen Taitt.

Relative of the Clarke, Taitt, Marshall, Weekes, Hoyte, Daniel, Benskin and Roachford families.

The funeral of the late Hugh Gordon Clarke leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday February 16th, at 10:00 a.m where the body will be repose for viewing at  Belleplaine Church of God Reformation Movement, Belleplaine, St. Andrew from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. The funeral will then proceed to St. Andrew Parish Churchyard for the Graveside Service of Thanksgiving and interment at 2:30 p.m.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.  

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
