Hilda Elise Griffith, better known as “Lise” of Connell Town, St. Lucy and formerly of Mount Gay, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 88. 

Former Employee of Mount Gay Plantation and Member of Connell Town Christian Mission Church.

Wife of the late John Oliver “Ollie” Griffith.

Daughter of the late Dalton and Ethel Roach.

Mother of Andrew, June, Sylvester, Dian, Patricia, Leonard and Terry Roach, the late Vinola Moore and Kelvin Roach.

Grandmother of Ryan, Andre, Charlene, Rudolph (UK), Raquel, Tamekia, Alketa, Sasha, Reynaldo, Terrell (USA) and nineteen others.

Great-grandmother of Twenty-five.

Great-great-grandmother of four.

Sister of Nickie Roach and the late Evelyn Griffith.

Aunt of sixteen.

Mother-in-law of Karene and Claire Roach and David Moore (USA).

Relative ofthe Roach, Griffith and Moorefamilies.

Friend of Leroy, Neatsee and Yorline.

The funeral of the late Hilda Elise Griffith leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Wednesday October 16^th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. for St. Lucy’s Parish Church, Fairfield, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 3:00 p.m.

The organist is kindly asked to attend.
