Hilda Tabitha Codrington, also known as “Mama” of Queen Mary Road, Bank Hall, St. Michael, born on January 15, 1923 and passed peacefully at home on January 27, 2021 at age 98. Member of All Soul’s Anglican Church, All Soul’s Mother’s Union and All Soul’s Church Army.

Daughter of the Late Edna Ward (Cove Bay, St. Lucy) and John Corbin (Josey Hill, St. Lucy).
Mother of Diana Ward, Oceta Lee, Dolores Green, Wycliffe, Winslow, Cortez, and Erin Codrington, Estmi Codrington-Brome (USA) and Ambrose Ward (UK).
Grandmother of David Ward, Camille Clarke, Sue Ann, Rasheeda and Tangia Codrington (all of the USA), Olekunle. The funeral of the late Hilda Tabitha Codrington leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, February 11th at 8:00 a.m. for Westbury Cemetery,where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Graveside Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 10:00 a.m.
Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
