Eugene Loretta Payne, also known as “Ret” of Avis Town, St. Lucy,  entered peacefully into rest on April 11th, 2022 at age 81.  Faithful Member of the St. Swithun’s Anglican Church, Choir and Mother’s Union.

Daughter of the late Dudley and Etheline Payne.

Mother of Oakley Jordan, Kelville, Patrick, Jacqueline, Jefferson, Michael, Barry, Sherry and Lynda Payne, Elizabeth Skeete, Pamela Williams, Joyette Parris and Kimberly Bowen.

Grandmother of  Kirk, Kim, Kerry, Shane, Kellyann, Miresa, Dwayne, Damien, Jamal, Ankara, Tarel, Shaunte, Ahleea, Janesa, Porshe, Dashawn, Aarin, Jasiah, Joshua, Aarian, Keziah, Jabari, Anthony and Ethan.  

GreatGrandmother of  Gianni, Tazari and five others. 

Sister of Jessy Bowen, and the late Ralph ‘Trim’, Berkeley, Carlisle, Melville, Rudolph, Waveny and Mitcheson Payne.

Aunt of Tennyson, Margrete, Margaret and many others.

Cousin of Carmen and Norma.

Mother-in-law of Michael Skeete, Dorrance Parris, Vanessa and Andrea Payne, Kenneth Jordan, Nicole Broomes and two others.

Close friend of Coreen Payne and Violet Husbands.

Relative of the Payne, Newsam, Drakes and Hurley families.

Friend of Charlie, Costa and Tommy Campbell, Melva, Edris, Patsy, Velda, Khwamlisa, Eunice, Maundy, Val, Ramona and members of the St. Swithun’s Anglican Church.

The funeral of the late Eugene Loretta Payne leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. for St. Swithun’s Anglican Church, Greenidges, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 3:00 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to Casuarina Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter for the interment.  

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Eugene Loretta Payne from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 12:30 p.m. on Friday
