Ernetha Loraine Phillips of Mount View, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 80.  Former employee of Spring Hall and Mount Gay Plantations.

Wife of the late Ivan Phillips (former employee of Mount Gay Distilleries).  Daughter of the late Erma Atwell and Allan Collymore.  Mother of Tyrone Atwell, Martin Atwell (U.S.A.), Hazeline Goddard-Ross, Terry Atwell (M.T.W.), Lana Toussaint (Southern Palms Hotel) and the late Leroy Atwell. Grandmother of Martin Atwell Jnr and Roxanna Liddel (both of the U.S.A.), Kerryann Bovell (Divi Southwinds), Shakeem Atwell (Southern Palms Hotel) and 12 others.  Great–Grandmother of Shamiyah Atwell, Kelani Whitehall (Louisiana) and 14 others.  Sister of Marcia Austin, David Collymore and 4 others.  Niece of Stella Atwell and many others.  Aunt of Hartley Atwell, Allison Atwell and 9 others.  Mother-in-law of Pamela Atwell (U.S.A.) and 3 others.  Sister-in-law of Gerald Phillips and 4 others.  Relative of the Atwell, Collymore, Boyce and Skeete families. Friend of Ronda Chassang, Thelma Bowen, Michelle Scantlebury, Beverley Frederick, Mr. & Mrs. Reuben Jordan, the family of Chance Hall Seventh Day Adventist Church and many others.

The funeral of the late Ernetha Loraine Phillips leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, January 26th at 12 noon for Mile & A Quarter Seventh Day Adventist Church, Hopeland, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. Lucy’s Parish Churchyard for the interment.  Live streaming can be viewed via the link https://watch.earlsfuneralhome.com/ErnethaPhillips 

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Ernetha Loraine Phillips from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. 

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
