Doris Eileen Skeete, age 83, of 58 Atlantic Ave., Gemswick, St. Philip.  Retired Postal Worker (U.K.). Faithful member of St. Martin’s Anglican Church Army and the Mothers’ Union.

Daughter of the late James and Albertina Thompson.

Mother of Mervin, Anderson and Stephen Skeete (all of the U.K.) and Noline Skeete-Alleyne.

Grandmother of Deonne Andrews, Marsha Gittens, Michael, Byron, Chantel, David, Aaron and Kamara Skeete (all of the U.K.) and James Andrews. 

Great Grandmother of Jadacia and Jameir Andrews, Jaliyah Craig and Kamal Yearwood, Tsharn Andrews and Tre James (of the U.K.)

The funeral of the late Doris Eileen Skeete leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, September 25th at 8:00 a.m. for St. Martins Anglican Church, St. Martins, St. Philip where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.  The cortege will then proceed to Summit Gardens, Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

The body of the late Doris Eileen Skeete will repose for viewing in the Chapel of Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect with 60 persons allowed to attend the service in the church.  The physical distancing of 3 feet will apply to persons at the graveside.
