Barbara Mareta Browne nee Ifill, of  Upper Carlton St.James and formerly of  New York, USA  entered peacefully into rest at age 85.

Wife  of the late James Ellsworth Browne.

Mother of Jo-Anne Browne-Jordan, James Browne ( Barbados National Oil Company) and Jeffery Carl Browne (USA) .

Grandmother of  Massai Gurdon-Browne, Savanna and Sienna Browne.

Sister of the late Carlisle Ifill (Canada).

Mother-in-law of Michelle Gurdon (USA); Candace Browne ( Mount Gay Distilleries) and Oliver Jordan (B&B Distribution).

Relative of Michael Ifill and Dr. Cyrus Murray (both of the USA), Sylvia, Brenda and Marlene Lucas, Colvin and Victor Bishop (both retired Station Sargeants), Jeffrey Murray, Trevor Richards, the Marray, Ifill, Payne, Browne ,Francis, Earl and Sandiford families, and the late Dorothy Hinds, Cardinal Cumberbatch and Ithon Murray.

Sister-in-law of Marjorie Griffith (USA), Muriel McClean (UK), the late Lela Ifill, Carlton and Eustace Browne.

The funeral of the late Barbara Mareta Browne leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on  Saturday 29^th October 2022 at 8:00a.m. for Abundant Life Assembly, Haines Hill, Bank Hall, St.Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00.a.m. 

Tributes will commence at 9:30 a.m.

The cortege will then proceed to St.James Cemetery for the interment. 

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of  the late Barbara Mareta Browne from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 28th October, 2022.
