Alphin Nathaniel Greaves, also known as ‘Alvin’ of Hope Road, St. Lucy.  October 2nd, 1944 to September 1st, 2018.  Former Bailiff of Dacosta Mannings and Island Constable at Q.E.H.

Husband of Gladwyn Greaves. Son of the late Kenneth and Una Bowen.  Father of Joel, Pauline and Derrick Springer, Gracelene Greaves and Saungene Greaves-Husbands.  Grandfather of Richanne Lashley, Jonico, Jovonte, Joniya and Angel Springer, Dario and Deandra Yearwood, Rasheed Woodroffe, Sanasho and Sashen Husbands and Donielle Willie.  Brother of Judith Callender, Mary Hinds, Timothy, Gay and John Bowen, Evonda Toppin, Herma Johnson and the late Beverley Bowen.  Nephew of Miriam Scantlebury, the late Ralph Greaves and Liza Hinds.  Uncle of Rosalyn Callender-Hinds, Carolyn Gibson, Cloviston Callender, Antoinette, Andrew, Kareem and Teshua Bowen, Naddene Broome, Gailann and Kelly-Ann Durant, Dwayne Austin, Ronet and Renaldo Johnson.  Great Uncle of many.  Cousin of many.  Father-in-law of Nash Husbands.  Brother-in-law of Mark Toppin, Anthony and Leroy Springer, Merlene Agard and 4 others, the late John Springer and Ottaline Hollingsworth,.

The funeral of the late Alphin Nathaniel Greaves leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, September 13th at 2:00 p.m. for St. Lucy Parish Church, Near Nestfield, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 4:00 p.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Alphin Nathaniel Greaves from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
