Pastor Alfred DaCosta Jordan, of Durhams, St. Lucy and formerly of Hope Road, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 92. 

Retired Superintendent of the B’dos Transport Board and former Pastor of Durhams New Testament Church of God, St. Lucy.

Beloved Husband of Gloria Jordan.

Son of the late Elsie Jordan and Irvine Broome.

Step-Father of Bernadette Gill, Velma and Vasselka Romeo.

Grandfather of Ron Romeo, Nicholas Gill and Christian Romeo (USA).

Great-grandfather of Diamond and Romani Romeo.  

Brother of Elma Jordan, the late John Jordan, Gloria Waterman, Doris Greaves, Hazel, Violet and Theophilus Broome.

Uncle of Gladys Best, Eudawn Gilkes, Grace, Morgan and Chris Broome, Clovis, Alldene, Hartley, Beulah, Margo and Michael Jordan, Angela Branch and many more.

Great-Uncle of Sislyn, Valeta and Professor Curwen Best (UWI), Dave and Pastor Nigel Best (USA) and many more.

Cousin of Roger Jordan and Eugene Babb.

Brother-in-law of Omega Sandy (UK), Moses Romeo (Turks & Caicos), Winston Romeo and Clothilda Romeo (St. Vincent).

Relative ofthe Jordan, Broome and Best families.

Friend of Ruben Jordan and family, Nigel Joseph and family, Messaleta Connell, Marcia Maynard, Anderson Walkes, Carl Ifill, Shurland Roach, Pastor Kellman and members of Durhams New Testament Church of God.

The funeral of the late Pastor Alfred DaCosta Jordan leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Friday October 18th, 2024 at 12 noon for the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 2:00 p.m.

The body will repose for viewing at Durhams New Testament Church of God, Durhams, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Pastor Alfred DaCosta Jordan from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
